Citizens jury wants gene technology but subject to conditions
The use of new breeding technology is necessary to realize the full objectives of CropBooster-P. But what is the opinion of society about using these techniques?
We organised a Citizen Jury in the Netherlands, where we asked this question in relation to climate change, increased stress on our eco-systems and global food security. The verdict? Yes, but subject to conditions.
