Event: Farm to Fork Conference 2021: October 14 & 15

The second Farm to Fork Conference – Building sustainable food systems together, will take place on 14 and 15 October 2021 and will be a virtual event. The conference is hosted this year by the European Commissioner for Health & Food Safety, Ms. Stella Kyriakides, the European Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr. Janusz Wojciechowski and the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Ms Mariya Gabriel. The opening of the Conference will be given by the European Commission Executive Vice-President Frans Timmermans (to be confirmed).

The Farm to Fork 2021 Conference - Building sustainable food systems together, held close to World Food Day, is the annual gathering of European stakeholders interested in helping to shape the EU’s path towards sustainable food systems.

Stakeholders across the food system, public authorities, international and civil society organisations, research and innovation actors, as well as other citizens and the interested public are invited to join the debate on the progress made on the implementation of the Farm to Fork Strategy for a fair, healthy and environmentally friendly food system. The event will also provide a forum for discussion on the challenges and opportunities linked to the global transition to sustainable food systems, as well as on further thematic areas of intervention and on-going research and innovation efforts (#HorizonEU - #Food2030EU).

We look forward to your active participation in this event – please “save the date”! Detailed registration information and links will follow soon.
